The History of Surfing elective is an interesting, engaging, and informative course intended to improve each student’s understanding of the evolution of global surfing culture, ocean/wave dynamics, marine ecosystems/organisms, water safety, surfboard design and more! Students will have regular weekly assignments, homework, tests, and will complete a variety of projects related to the course objectives during the semester.
